Vision

Mission

Our CEO and founder

Growing up in Bristol as someone of mixed British-Jamaican heritage, theatre became my sanctuary. It gave me confidence, purpose, and a voice when I needed one most. At a time when I could have easily lost direction, the arts showed me what was possible.

But I also saw how inaccessible theatre could feel for people from communities like mine. Too often, young people, people of colour, and neurodiverse individuals are underrepresented and underserved within the arts.

That is why I founded Black & White Theatre.

My mission is to create inclusive, inspiring spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered through performance. I believe theatre has the power to transform lives, build confidence, and bring people together through storytelling.

Black & White Theatre is built on passion, authenticity, and the belief that talent exists everywhere. Every person deserves the opportunity to be heard, tell their story, and discover their potential. Through our work, I am committed to opening doors, breaking down barriers, and creating lasting change across Bristol and beyond.
